Street BBQ in Montevideo

Our grill master Javier Costa visited his home town in Uruguay and unexpectedly ran into an old friend while cruising his neighborhood in Montevideo. Precisely in the intersection of Rivera and Diego Lamas streets a “street BBQ” was happening. This “guerrilla” BBQ is very common in Uruguay, specially in some neighborhoods where “candombe” (Candombe is an Uruguayan music and dance that comes from Africa), tango and football mixed all together over a wood fired grill… on the street!
